Bioplastics

Duckweed can contain upwards of 44% protein. This protein allows it to be formed into bioplastics with excellent characteristics, both as a permanent or biodegradable product. Some of our ILA members are working with duckweed to achieve a competitive product that allows for CO2 sequestration in a permanent material. IE Building materials.
